Welcome to University Center.

Welcome to South Dakota Public Universities and Research Center or as we like to refer to it, University Center. Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our new website. We think you will find it helpful and that you will return to visit our site often, using it as a tool to find information about University Center, including Departments such as Academic and Student Services Coordination, the Business Office, Computing Services, the Bookstore, area links, etc.

University Center North

University Center North (UCN) is located 2 miles north of our south building (UCS). This new classroom building includes 55,000 square feet of classroom and office space.

University Center South

University Center South (UCS) was built in 2000. It is shared with Southeast Technical University. UC currently occupies 50,000 square feet of this joint use facility.

UC Health Sciences Center

UC occupies about 14,000 square feet on two floors in the Terry Sullivan Health Sciences Center (HSC). This space houses the nursing programs from both USD and SDSU.

GEAR Center

The Graduate Education and Applied Research Center, or otherwise known as GEAR, includes approximately 21,000 square feet of laboratory and support space as well as a Common's area.
