University Center in Sioux Falls is a unique, collaborative partnership that includes The University of South Dakota, South Dakota State University, Dakota State University, and Northern State University. These four outstanding universities bring over 50 degree programs in their entirety to University Center for your convenience. At UC you can enroll in Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate degree programs delivered in a variety of ways. You can choose from day, evening, weekend, or online classes...whichever fits your schedule. We also have on-site advisors and there is financial aid available to those who qualify.

Academic Advising

At UC we have four professional advisors on staff (three undergraduate and one graduate), peer advisors, and an admissions coordinator to assist you with a variety of academic issues. They will provide you with accurate and timely information on academic requirements as well as help you develop a suitable educational plan based on your needs and goals. Student Support

Our Student Support staff offers a variety of services to students at UC. In addition to academic advising, we assist you through admissions, provide guidance with financial aid concerns, coordinate disability services and accommodations, and provide placement and other testing services. Free tutoring is available in math, English, and chemistry.

Important Information

Fall Semester begins September 2.

Fall New Student Orientation is Thursday, August 21 (5:00 pm) or Friday, August 22 (10 am).

Fall Faculty Orientation is Thursday, August 28 (5:30 pm).
