What is CLEP?
CLEP stands for College Level Examination Program. CLEP exams are for students who wish to gain credit for courses through testing. The CLEP Exam is a test given on the computer that tests your skills on the coursework for which you would like to gain credit. Please be advised that if you have previously failed a course (receiving a D or F), you may not take the CLEP exam to earn credit for that course. If you have any questions, please speak with your advisor.
How much does it cost?
The fees include a $15 registration fee (payable to USD) and a $77 CLEP fee (payable to CLEP).
Are there study guides available?
CLEP study guides are available for in-room use only at the Testing & Resource Center. Please also find study materials on the CLEP official website.
