Proctoring Services for Distance/Internet/Correspondence Courses
The Testing Center at University Center (Room 280) is an approved proctor for most of the universities within the South Dakota university system.
How can I use UC as my Test Proctor?
First Step:
Most instructors require a proctor form to be completed and submitted. It's the student's responsibility to obtain this form from their instructor/course materials. It's also the student's responsibility to fill out the form and submit it to their instructor in a timely manner. We are happy to provide information to you in order to complete your form. In the cases where a signature is not required, you may place the following information on your form:

Second Step:
Set up an appointment with us to take your exam. You may call us at 605-367-5989 or email us at testingcenter@sduniversitycenter.org. We ask that you make your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. We fill up quickly during Midterms and Finals.
Third Step:
If we haven't confirmed receipt of your test when you make your appointment, please call us the day of your appointment to confirm that we have received your test from your instructor. In all cases, it's up to the student to ensure that their test is available on the day they want to take it.
Continuing Education Students (USD)
Are you taking online or correspondence courses through CE at USD? If so, UC is your preapproved proctor for the Sioux Falls area. All courses require a proctor form completed with your student information. This form is then submitted to CE with a check mark next to Sioux Falls Area- University Center. This must be done in order for CE to know where to send your exams.

University Center does not need to sign the form! Simply place a check mark next to "Sioux Falls Area- University Center" and either mail or fax your form to CE. Then, make a testing appointment by calling us at 605-367-5989.
Proctoring for Out-of-State Students
University Center provides proctoring services to those attending school out-of-state. We do charge a $25 proctoring fee for universities that are not within the SDBOR system.
