Decide the institution through which you would like to get your degree: USD, SDSU, DSU, NSU, BHSU or SDSM&T. This will be your "Home University". | ||

Submit completed Application for Admission and non-refundable $20.00 Application Fee to your Home University's Office of Admission. | ||

Request that an Official Transcript from your high school or a GED certificate be sent to your Home University's Office of Admission. | ||
|
Request that Official Transcripts for ALL post secondary institutions you previously attended be sent to your Home University's Office of Admission. |

The Admission process takes approximately 3-6 weeks after the application, fee and transcripts have been submitted. After ALL application materials have been submitted, contact University Center or your Home University's Office of Admission for ALL application status inquiries. |

Submit proof of two MMR immunizations to either University Center or your Home University's Health Center. | ||
|
Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), if applicable. | ||
|
Complete the COMPASS Placement Exam (if applicable). |

After you have received your acceptance letter or verbal confirmation from your Home University and have met the immunization requirement: |

Call University Center at (605) 367-5640 to schedule an appointment to meet with a Academic Advisor to discuss course selection and degree requirements. | ||

Complete your registration for the upcoming semester. Courses fill quickly, so register EARLY! | ||
|
Full payment of tuition and fees is required to finalize enrollment in any class. Questions? Please refer to the Business Office. | ||

Purchase books for your courses at the University Center Bookstore. To obtain more information regarding your required purchases and/or purchase your textbooks online, contact the UC Bookstore. |
