South Dakota School of Mines

 
Proficiency Testing

Once you complete 48 credits towards your BA/BS/BBA degree (32 for AA/AS) you must take the proficiency exam. This exam is offered at the University Center location twice a year, in March and October. For more information on this test Click Here!

 
Tutoring @ UC

Tutoring is a free program available to all students enrolled at the University Center. Our mission is to help students achieve their goals through on-going support. Tutoring is available for several subjects including Math, English and Chemistry. Sessions are offered in an individual or group format and are scheduled for weekly one hour time slots (there's a limitation of one hour per day in cases where additional help is needed).
 
Students can sign up for a tutoring session at the binders in the Resource Center- Room 280D!
