Students are not actually admitted to University Center, but to one of the South Dakota Public Universities (USD, SDSU, DSU, NSU, BHSU or SDSM&T).
A student who wants to earn an undergraduate degree will be required to complete an application for admission and submit the required documents.
If you have previously been a degree-seeking student at a South Dakota Public University, you may submit a paper readmission form or you can apply online. Please note, your application fee will only be waived if you have attended a South Dakota Public University within the previous three semesters to the term that you are applying. This includes summer, fall and spring terms.
Readmission Form (Open with Adobe Reader or Acrobat)
Want to take a course or more without having to go through the full application process? Complete Non-Degree Seeking Application (Note: Non-Degree Seeking students are not eligible for financial aid and so will need to make payment arrangements for any course(s) in which they are registered for, see University Center Business Office). Once this form is completed, it must be sent with a copy of student immunization and a copy of a transcript showing any completed and/or necessary pre-requisites (or placement tests). Also, the Non-Degree Seeking application does not require official records nor does it require an application fee. Contact Admissions at UC if you have additional questions.
Applicants to a graduate level program offered at the University Center location are admitted according to the admission policies of the institution offering the degree. For more information on specific application requirements and deadlines for the graduate programs offered at University Center, please visit the corresponding institution's graduate school website link below.
There will be no classes and UC offices will be closed on Native American Day.View Details
