Black Hills State University
BHSU is based in Spearfish with a long history of liberal arts education. With more than 4,400 students, BHSU is known for its degrees in education, tourism and music. UC offers two BHSU degrees for Sioux Falls students in tourism/hospitality and general studies. Visit the BHSU website.
Dakota State University
DSU offers certificate, associate, undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of academic areas with an emphasis on information technology. Madison, South Dakota is home to the DSU Trojans and the university’s 2,800 students. In Sioux Falls, students can pursue several DSU programs including network security, web development, software development, cyber operations, computer science and various healthcare degrees like respiratory care and health information technology. Northern State University
Based in Aberdeen, SD, NSU was originally created to emphasize the industrialized arts and teacher preparation. As the school grew, so did its curriculum. Renamed Northern State University in 1989, NSU offers a general studies degree through University Center in Sioux Falls. Visit the NSU website.
South Dakota School of Mines & Technology
SDSMT was originally founded as the Dakota School of Mines in 1885. Today, the Rapid City based college prepares graduates in a variety of engineering and science fields including nanotechnology. Visit the SDSMT website.
South Dakota State University
Home of the Jackrabbits, SDSU offers nationally recognized nursing and agriculture programs along with 173 other fields of study. At University Center Sioux Falls, you can pursue several of SDSU’s associate and degree programs. SDSU is based in Brookings, South Dakota. Visit the SDSU website.
The University of South Dakota
Founded in 1862, USD is the state’s oldest university. USD is the state’s only medical school and law school and home of the nationally accredited Beacom School of Business. USD is based in Vermillion, SD, but through University Center you can access many of its certificate and degree programs without leaving Sioux Falls. Visit the USD website.
