Affordability
Getting a college education? You can’t afford not to.
People with a college degree will earn about $2 million more in their lifetime than people without one. Plus, studies show they’ll lead happier, more fulfilled lives. So the real question is, how can you afford not to earn a degree? At University Center, we understand that budgeting for a college education can be hard. We’ll help you make a financial plan to assist with the cost of college – so you can start earning your extra $2 million.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is about more than just student loans. Our financial aid staff is here to advise you on paying for college, helping to apply for grants and scholarships and setting up a financial plan. We’ll even help you apply for federal financial aid. To get the most assistance, check out our FAFSA tips.
College Scholarships
University Center offers a variety of college scholarships, including those for adult students and students who attend part-time. And unlike many universities, our scholarships are based on need, not just your GPA.
Tuition Reimbursement
Employers are always looking to better their employees, and for many that can mean a college degree. Our research has shown that about half of Sioux Falls employers offer some type of support for employees pursuing higher education. Be sure to ask yours about tuition assistance or reimbursement.
Tuition Rates at University Center
Tuition and fees are charged according to the policies of the South Dakota Board of Regents.
Most classes at University Center are off-campus (exceptions include classes in nursing, pharmacy and select graduate programs). Residents and non-residents pay the same off-campus rate. Special rates for senior citizens, teachers, and veterans are not applicable to off-campus rates. NOTE: Audit costs are the same as credit costs and students are required to request an audit on their registration form at the time of registration.
