As part of the expansion with the USD Discovery District, our main road between the Classroom building & the Science & Technology building will be undergoing a complete and total reconstruction. 
Construction begins Monday May 8, 2017* and is scheduled to end Tuesday, August 15, 2017* 

What to expect:

Update on the UC road construction that is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 8, 2017 (Phase 1)

If you currently park in the far SW lot which is the same lot as the maintenance shed, please begin to park on Thursday, May 4^th  either at the Science & Technology building’s lot or at any of the other open west parking lots (not the visitor lot) through this first stage of construction.  Please follow all traffic signs when arriving & leaving and make sure to use only the designated open to pedestrians sidewalks & crosswalks.   

 

Phase 1 is expected to be completed by June 15, 2017, weather permitting.   As we get closer to Phase 1B, additional parking information will be forth coming.       

 

During the 3 phases of the construction you will encounter road detours to access the parking lots** for the Classroom and Science & Technology buildings. All road closers during this project will be visible with instructions on how to gain access to the parking lots.

GIVE YOURSELF EXTRA TIME AND SLOW DOWN TO ALLOW FOR CHANGES AND SAFETY OF 

ALL PERSONS ATTENDING OR VISITING DURING THIS TIME.

**When identified, handicapped parking will be located in the GEAR Center parking lot
