USD CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE INSTITUTE presents a Professional Development Workshop

featuring Christine Sleeter, Ph.D. Author, speaker, teacher and activist in multicultural/culturally responsive teaching

K–12 WORKSHOP* | 9 a.m.–12 p.m. | Friday, June 9 | University Center Sioux Falls (Open to K–12 educators and staff only) After showing an example of culturally-responsive teaching in an elementary classroom, Christine Sleeter will engage teachers in figuring out what things, and how, the teacher learned about her students. Sleeter will then engage teachers in identifying strategies they might use to learn about their own students.
