Schedule an Exam
Appointments are required for every exam taken at UC Testing Center. It is best to request an appointment by completing the form below at least 2 business days in advance or 1-2 weeks in advance during midterms and finals. Please review the following information before requesting an appointment.
NOTE: The UC Business Office will be accepting all payments for the testing center starting June 27, 2016. They accept cash, debit/credit cards, and checks for payment, their hours of operation are 9a-6p Monday-Thursday & 9a-5p on Friday. Please stop at the UC Testing Center first to receive a confirmation of your exam which can then be brought to the UC Business Office to pay for any exams that require payment prior to taking your exam; contact the UC Testing Center at [email protected] or 605-274-9550 for any questions regarding this payment process.
Test Center Hours
Each exam is scheduled for the entire amount of time allotted by the instructor; we cannot alter this time limit. If a time limit is not provided, we allow 2 hours. NOTE: hours are subject to change based on staffing availability. Please call ahead to confirm hours of operation at 605-274-9550.

NOTE: Hours are subject to change, please call ahead to 605-274-9550 to confirm hours of operation. Additional hours will be available on Fridays during midterms and finals. Starting 9/30/16, the hours of operation will be Mon-Fri from 9a-11a and 1p-5p.
Mondays: 9a-Noon and 1p-9p
Tuesdays: 9a-Noon and 1p-9p
Wednesdays: 9a-Noon and 1p-9p
Thursdays: 9a-Noon and 1p-9p
Fridays: The 2nd and 3rd of the month: 9a-Noon | 4th: 1p-5p
NOTE: The testing center will be closed on these Days/Times:
October 10 (Native American Day)
November 7th at Night
November 11 (Veteran’s Day)
November 24th and 25th (Thanksgiving)
December 20th-28th at Night
December 23rd & 26th (Holiday Break)
What to Bring the Day of Your Test
The UC Testing Center will provide pencils, scratch paper, and a computer (if applicable). Students are expected to bring the following:
- A valid, photo ID (a government issued photo ID is required for CLEP Tests)

Notes, book, and/or calculator (if allowed by instructor)
- Login and password information for sites required to access your exam (D2L, MyMathLab, Chemweb, and etc)
- Proctor Fee (if applicable)
The following is not allowed while in the Testing Center:
- Food or drinks
- Drink or bathroom breaks
- Cell phones, smart watches/glasses, and other personal items. It would be best to leave these items in your car; however, lockers are available if needed. The UC Testing Center is not responsible for items stored in the Testing Center
