Visitor Policy
Take a course without taking tests.
If you’re looking to improve your skills in a certain area or take courses without worrying about grades, visitor courses could be for you.
University Center’s visitor policy allows an individual to take a course for a reduced rate of $100 for the benefit of learning and not for credit. As a visitor, you can sit in on the class and listen to lecture, but you’re not required to turn in assignments, take tests, or complete any other graded work. Additionally, you will not be granted access to D2L (online course system where instructors post additional materials for class).
The visitor policy only applies to an individual who is NOT currently taking any classes in the Regental system under these conditions: when there is space available in the class, the class is going to be offered with enough current student enrollment, and the instructor has granted permission. Visitors are limited to 2 courses per semester and are responsible for purchasing the required books or any other classroom materials needed.
If you are interested in participating in class as a visitor, Find a Course to Visit and ask the instructor for signature on the Visitor Pass (obtained from Academics/Student Services at University Center) if he/she would be able to accommodate.
