Sioux Falls Community
Serving Sioux Falls.
Why is UC located in Sioux Falls? To serve the community. University Center was created to address the changing needs of Sioux Falls’ local economy and provide quality academic programs, lifelong learning opportunities and graduates to meet them. It’s a unique focus we’re proud of.
We’re big on academic partnerships.
Not only has University Center partnered with six state universities – we’re also connected with offices around the state including outreach sites at USD and SDSU.
- SDSU Pharmacy
- SDSU Nursing
- USD Biomedical Engineering
- USD Trio
We’ve partnered for community development.
Working with the Prairie Family Business Association, UC supports family businesses, networking opportunities and professional growth throughout the state.
Find a place to live.
Nearby, you can find University Hills Village offering low-cost living with community areas for students. Additionally, you can search for a place to rent in Sioux Falls by visiting SD Housing Development Authority or if you are looking to begin the process of purchasing a home in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities, you can start by educating yourself on the process via an affiliate of South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA), HERO which operates under the SDHDA Board of Commissioners appointed by the Governor of South Dakota. Another great resource is our local newspaper, the Argus Leader.
Community scholarships support us.
UC graduates are valuable to our community, and our scholarship supporters agree. Through generous gifts, businesses and individuals continue to contribute to University Center and invest in the future of Sioux Falls students.
Our facility is public.
UC’s newly designed campus is open for the public to enjoy. We’ve hosted political town hall meetings, mayoral debates, training seminars, public discussions, and other events contributing to community progress, check out how we can help you (See Room Reservations and Rentals)!
