University Center Online Bookstore
Books, Supplies, and More!
University Center's virtual bookstore, in collaboration with eCampus, represents one convenient online location for you to purchase your books and supplies for your courses offered only at University Center!
Book Buyback, Rental Return, or Marketplace
Would you like some extra cash for the holidays? Well, we'd like your used textbooks so let's make a deal! Bring your used textbooks, along with any supplies purchased (or rented) through eCampus during book buyback/rental return held at University Center (see News Calendar for dates/times). Want to sell to another student online? Simply use the eCampus site to sell your item(s) as a part of the marketplace!
Selling or Buying via the eCampus Marketplace
eCampus.com allows third-party individuals and volume sellers to list their inventory through our Marketplace. The registration process is simple and there are no start-up fees, listing fees or payment processing fees associated with having an account. eCampus.com will take a 15% commission from the sale of each item. eCampus.com processes payment from the buyer. General Returns: To be eligible for a refund a book must be received within 30 days from the original ship date or start of the course. A refund will be posted to a student's original method of payment once the return is received and processed. Note: it may take 3-7 business days after the return has been processed for a refund to be posted to the account used for purchase. Items must be returned in the condition in which they were received. Note: If the course/university changes the adoption/requirements and students have purchased listed items prior to the change, returning the item(s) is subject to a 10% restocking fee and $7 return shipping fee. Explanation of restock fee: Overstock most often occurs when students purchase books (especially used books) on speculation and then return them to us after shopping elsewhere. In the meantime, the bookstore orders additional books for students who need them. Returning an excess stock, which includes shipping charges and publisher’s penalty fees, is an expense. This policy protects students from changes or mistakes beyond their control and allows equal access to used books while helping us more closely match inventory to anticipated sales. If there are any further questions about this policy feel free to contact the bookstore.
Custom Packages: Shrink-wrapped items cannot be returned if the wrapping is broken unless the items are defective. Access cards can be returned if still in the sealed/unopened condition in which they were shipped. eCampus cannot accept items for return with open diskette packages or CD-ROM's that have broken seals.
Marketplace Purchases: If a student needs to return a Marketplace purchase for any reason, these must be worked out with the seller of the item. Students may contact the seller for instructions by logging into their Account and choosing "My Account". The seller contact link will be displayed below the item name.
