Yes, We Can Proctor Your Exam
Any student from any university can take a test at the UC Testing Center; however, pre-approval from the instructor or institution offering the class is usually required. Once the University Center is approved as a proctor site, all students must request an appointment at least 2 days prior to the test date or 1-2 weeks in advance during midterms and finals. A member of the UC Testing Center staff will confirm the appointment via email. Students requiring special accomodations should contact Jennifer Schelske at (605) 367-5640.
Pre-Approval for University Center Classes
UC students who need to complete a missed test may do so at the Testing Center. The student must first contact their instructor who will submit the test and any details to the Testing Center. The UC Testing Center does not proctor exams for an entire class.
Pre-Approval for SD BOR Classes
Students must get approval from the SD BOR school offering the class before testing at the UC Testing & Resource Center:
- BHSU students: please contact your instructor for a proctor form.
- DSU students: Click Here to Download/Complete the DSU Proctor Form
- NSU students: Click Here to Download the NSU Proctor Form
- SDSM&T students: Contact the SDSM&T Test Center
- SDSU students: Click Here to Download the SDSU Proctor Form

Pre-Approval for Non-SD BOR Classes
Students who need a test proctor for a class not offered by a SD BOR university will be charged a proctor fee of $25 per test. Students are responsible for contacting the instructor or institution offering the class to get a proctor form.
