
Proctor Services
The Testing and Resource Center, at University Center, is an approved proctor for most of the universities within the South Dakota University System. Students enrolled in distance, online and correspondence courses can use the Testing Center to complete quizzes, tests and final exams (should their courses require it). University Center offers proctoring services to those attending school out-of-state. We charge a $25 proctoring fee per exam for universities that are not within the South Dakota Board of Regents system. Setting up University Center as your proctor is simple.
First Step: Complete a Proctor Form
Most instructors' classes require a Proctor Form be completed to be eligible to take their exams at a distance site/location. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain and complete this form in a timely manner. This form should be made available to you by the instructor; however, you can find this form by visiting the links below:

Second Step: Schedule An Appointment
You may call, email or complete our Webform to set-up an appointment to take your exam. We ask that you make your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. We fill up quickly during mid-term and finals.
Third Step: Confirm Your Exam Is Available
If we haven’t confirmed your testing appointment request, please ensure that we have received it by calling us at (605) 367-5989, on the day of your appointment. In all cases, it is up to you to ensure that your test is scheduled on the day you want to take it.
