Why is UC located in Sioux Falls? To serve the community. University Center was created to address the changing needs of Sioux Falls’ local economy and provide quality academic programs, lifelong learning opportunities and graduates to meet them. It’s a unique focus we’re proud of.

Additionally, you can search for a place to rent in Sioux Falls by visiting SD Housing Development Authority or if you are looking to begin the process of purchasing a home in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities, you can start by educating yourself on the process via an affiliate of South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA), HERO which operates under the SDHDA Board of Commissioners appointed by the Governor of South Dakota. Another great resource is our local newspaper, the Argus Leader.

Get Help.

Looking for assistance with child care, mental health, financial guidance, life crisis, etc.? The Helpline Center is your starting point for help as well as The Compass Center. Also, you are never alone in your personal and mental health needs! For any student, faculty, staff counseling needs, we have partnered with Stronghold Counseling–their staff of counselors are able to assist with a variety of needs. Also, Stronghold offers a sliding fee scale for those without financial resources.
