HEIDI Traveling to attend class was not an option for Heidi, who lives and works in Sioux Falls. At University Center, she found a collaborative group of teachers and students. Her experience here has already helped her move toward her journalism career goal. |

TAUNEYTauney is a single mom juggling her daughter's activities and a job while she takes classes at UC. Her goal is to be a role model for her daughter by earning her bachelor’s degree. |

DUSTINDustin wanted to return to college but needed to stay in Sioux Falls due to work and family commitments. UC's flexible class schedules allow Dustin to work toward his bachelor’s degree. He also hopes to someday earn his masters. |

SARAHSarah's number one priority is her kids, but she wanted to go to school too. Sarah admits she was nervous about taking classes at first, but has found that the environment at University Center fits the needs of adult students like her. |

WYCLEFFEWycleffe returned to school in order to advance his business career. The flexibility of class times has allowed him to continue working full time. |

STEVESteve is a Health Science major taking classes through University of South Dakota at University Center. The small class sizes are one of the many benefits that attracted him to University Center. |

APRILApril is a speech instructor at University Center. She approaches teaching on a personal level. Her classes involve an array of students and class numbers are no larger than 25. |

MICHAELMichael spent years working in the corporate world before joining UC to teach economics. He enjoys the nature of the student population at University Center and the value that their experiences bring to the classroom. |
